- 2 cups Maida
- 1 cup gms powdered sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 cup milk (at room temperature)
- 1/2 cup milk (warm)
- 3 tsp white vinegar
- 1/2 cup refined oil or 100 gms butter
- 1 tsp chocolate essence
- 3 tsp butter
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
Method
- Add vinegar to warm milk to curdle it
- In a separate pan, mix maida, sugar, baking powder and cocoa powder
- Now add the curdled milk, normal milk and butter/oil and mix well
- Beat the mixture for 5 mins to get a thick batter
- Now add chocolate essence and again beat for 2 mins
- Now pour the batter in a baking container and bake it for 35 mins at 180 degrees Celsius
- While the cake is getting baked prepare the chocolate fudge
- In a pan, mix all the ingredients for chocolate fudge and keep heating
- Once the mixture is thick, add a little water and continue heating
- Once bubbles start coming out of the mixture, the fudge is ready
- Allow the fudge and cake to cool
- Now uniformly pour the fudge over the cake to completely cover the cake
