Instant Badam Barfi

Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 30 mins
Serves: 6

Ingredients
  • 250 gms Almonds (badam)
  • 200 gms sugar
  • 10 threads kesar



Method
  • Boil water in a pan and put the almonds in it for 2 mins
  • Separate out the almonds using a sieve
  • Churn the almonds to powder in a grinder
  • In a pan add sugar and water and prepare thick sugar syrup
  • Add the almond powder in the syrup and heat till the almonds start separating out (generally happens in 4-5 mins)
  • Remove the badam mixture
  • Flatten the mixture and cut into desired shapes
