Gulab Jamun with Chocolate Dip

Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 20 mins
Serves: 6

Ingredients
For Chocolate Sauce
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
For Gulab Jamun
  • 250 gms Khova
  • 20 gms Paneer (Cottage Cheese)
  • 1 tsp Maida
  • 1 tsp Cocoa Powder
  • Ghee for frying


Method
For Chcolate Sauce
  • Mix all the ingredients in a pan and heat
  • Boil till it becomes thick
For Gulab Jamun
  • Grate the khova and crush the paneer
  • Mix the khova, paneer, maida and cocoa powder
  • Make multiple small balls out of the mixture
  • In a pan, add ghee and heat lightly
  • Fry the khova balls till it becomes brown
  • Serve with Chocolate Sauce

Coconut Nutty Balls

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 30 mins
Serves: 12 pcs

Ingredients
For the laddu/balls
  • 2 cups grated coconut
  • 1 and 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
For the covering
  • 2 tsp postadana (poppy seed)
  • 5 drops of green color
  • 12 pcs of nutties or Cadbury shots


Method
  • Mix the postadana and color in a bowl and keep aside
  • In a pan, mix coconut, sugar and milk and heat for 10 mins
  • Prepare 12 balls out of the mixture, each containing a nutty chocolate inside
  • Cover the ball with the postadana

Baked Shahi Moong Dal Halwa

Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 30 mins
Serves: 6

Ingredients
  • 250 gms Moongdal kept in water for 2 hours
  • 175 gms Ghee
  • 100 gms Khova
  • 250 gms sugar
  • 10-15 threads of Kesar
  • 1/2 tsp of Elaichi (Cardamom) powder
  • 250 gms Rabri
  • 2 tbsp dry fruits (Almonds, Pista)
  • 350 ml boiled water


Method
  • Grind the Moongdal in a grinder
  • In a non stick pan, heat the ghee and Moongdal till its brown
  • Add khova and mix well
  • Add water and heat till the ghee starts separating out
  • Add sugar, elaichi powder and stir well
  • Put the Halwa in a baking dish
  • Put rabri on top of it
  • Garnish with dry fruits
  • Heat it in OTG - 200 degrees Celcius, for 10 mins
  • Cut it into pieces and serve

Cheesy Nimki

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins
Serves: 4

Ingredients
  • 2 cup Maida
  • 2 cup Cheese
  • 1/4 tsp Mangrela (Black Onion Seeds)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Oregano and Chili flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Warm Water
  • Oil for frying



Method
  • Mix Maida, cheese, butter, mangrela and salt
  • Prepare a hard dough with warm water
  • Flatten it into thin rotis and cut it into very small shapes with a knife
  • Fry and sprinkle oregano and chili flakes

Garlic Bread with Rajma Salad

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 5  mins
Serves: 2

Ingredients
For Garlic Bread
  • 4 slices Bread
  • 2 pc Cheese Singles
  • 4 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 1 pc finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Chili Flakes
  • Butter
  • Pinch of salt
For Rajma Salad
  • 1 cup boiled Rajma
  • 1 tsp Mayonnaise 
  • 1 tsp hung curd
  • 1 tbsp cucumber
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Chili Flakes
  • Coriander for decoration



Method
  • Prepare Rajma Salad by just all the ingredients
  • Take 2 pieces of Bread Slices and put cheese singles over it
  • Put garlic, onion, salt, oregano and chili flakes
  • Cover with other 2 pieces of bread like a sandwich
  • Put butter on both sides of the sandwich
  • Heat in oven for 5 mins or until golden brown
  • Cut the sandwich into halves
  • Serve with Rajma Salad

Cheese Balls

Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 5 mins
Serves: 12 pcs

Ingredients
  • 6 slices bread - sides removed
  • 3 cubes grated cheese
  • 1 pc green chilli
  • 1 tsp chopped coriander




Method
  • Take the bread slices and prepare a dough
  • Divide into 12 small balls
  • Prepare a mixture of cheese, chilli and coriander
  • Fill each ball with cheese mixture
  • Deep fry the balls

Note: Serve with ketchup or salsa sauce

Biscuit Chocolate Cookies

Preparation Time: 10 mins for preparation plus 30 mins for freezing
Cooking Time: No cooking required
Serves: 6

Ingredients
  • 16 pcs Marie Gold Biscuit
  • 4 tsp cashew and almonds, lightly roasted
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp cocoa
  • 2 tsp drinking chocolate
  • 4 tsp cream
  • 2-3 tsp Milk (Add as required)

Prepared dough

After cutting


Method
  • Crush the biscuits into powder
  • Mix all the ingredients to make a hard dough
  • Wrap it into aluminium foil and deep freeze for half an hour
  • Remove the foil and cut it into 1/2 inch thick pieces

Corn Bhel

Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 10 mins
Serves: 4

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup (1 pc) finely chopped boiled potato
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped tomato
  • 2 cups sweet corn
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
  • 1 pc finely chopped green chilly
  • 2 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp of Rai (Black Cumin seeds)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Cheese for decoration





Method
  • Fry the paneer in a pan and keep aside
  • Add butter to the pan and heat
  • Add Rai and then add onion
  • After a minute add potato, capsicum, tomato and green chilly
  • After a minute add corn, coriander and paneer 
  • Add salt, pepper and lemon juice
  • Mix well
  • Decorate with cheese

Yummy Kheer

Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 35 mins
Serves: 6-8

Ingredients
  • 1 litre full cream milk
  • 2 tbsp rice
  • 2 tbsp Khova
  • 10 threads Kesar
  • 2-3 tbsp sugar (add more according to taste)
  • Dry fruits for decoration (preferred almonds and pista)





Method
  • Heat the milk for 5 mins and add rice
  • Boil the milk for another 25 mins
  • Add khova, sugar and Kesar and stir for another 5 mins
  • Decorate with dryfruits
  • Serve Chilled

Bourbon Chocolate Shake

Serves: 2

Ingredients
  • 6-8 pcs of Bourbon biscuits
  • 500 ml of cold milk
  • 2 tbsp chocolate sauce (Hershey's chocolate sauce)
  • 3/4 cup of vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tsp Coffee powder
  • 3 tsp sugar



Method
  • Mix all the ingredients in a mixer
  • Churn it very lightly to make sure the biscuit is not powdered
  • Decorate the glass with chocolate sauce and serve

Healthy Mixed Salad

Preparation Time: 15 mins

Serves: 6

Ingredients
  • 1 pc Carrot
  • 1 cup Yellow, Green and Red Capsicum
  • 1 cup Lettuce
  • 1/2 cup Babycorn
  • 1/2 cup Sweet corn
  • 5 pcs Cherry Tomato (normal tomato would work)
  • 8-10 pcs Black Olives
  • 1/2 cup Broccoli 
  • 1/2 cup Spinach
  • 1 cup Boiled Macaroni
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise sauce or Tarter sauce
  • Basil leaves (preferred dry) or oregano
  • Salt and Pepper as per taste



Methods
  • Chop all the vegetables in thin long pieces
  • Toss all the ingredients

Creamy Lauki soup

Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins
Serves: 4

Ingredients
  • 1/2 kg bottle gourd (lauki) 
  • 3 cups milk
  • Salt and pepper as desired

Method
  • Peel the lauki skin and slice it into 3-4 pieces
  • Add water and boil the lauki in a cooker with 3-4 whistles
  • Strain the lauki and keep the water aside
  • Grind the boiled lauki in a grinder and make a paste of it
  • Add milk and 1 cup of leftover water
  • Mix and put it to boil until thick
  • Add salt and pepper
Note: For garnishing, put thinly sliced tofu strips

Garlic Bread with veggie topping

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 10 mins
Serves: 6

Ingredients

For Vegetable Topping
  • 1/2 cup Sprouts (green moong)
  • 2 pcs Chopped Onion
  • 2 pcs Chopped De seeded Tomato
  • 1 pc Chopped Capsicum
  • 1/2 cup Sweet Corn Kernels
Other Ingredients
  • Bread Loaf cut diagonally
  • 50 gms Butter
  • 10 cloves of Grated/Smashed Garlic
  • Oregano
  • Grated Mozzarella Cheese


Method
  • Mix smashed garlic, oregano and salt into butter
  • Apply this over bread slices
  • Mix sprouts, onion, tomatoes, capsicum and sweet corn for topping
  • Put it over the bread slices 
  • Add a pinch of salt on the vegetable topping
  • Garnish with mozzarella cheese
  • Bake for 10 mins in a pre-heated oven

  • Spread the nutella chocolate over biscuit pieces

Fried Bread Pizza

Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins
Serves: 6

Ingredients
  • 1 packet bread
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 capsicum
  • 1 cup maida dissolved in one and half cups water (Add salt as desired)
  • 2 cubes grated cheese
  • Salt and Pepper as per taste
  • 2 tsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 pc green chilli

Before covering the bread

How to serve


Method
  • Cut the tomatoes, onions and capsicum in long pieces
  • Cut the bread in round shape
  • Heat the oil in a pan with Aijwain
  • Add onions and suate until golden brown
  • Add capsicum and tomatoes and saute for another 2-3 mins
  • Add tomato ketchup, pepper, salt, green chilli
  • Put the mixture on one round bread piece
  • Add some cheese and cover it with other round bread piece
  • Dip the bread in the prepared Maida batter and deep fry
  • Repeat the same for other bread pieces

Sweet and Spicy Potato

Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins
Serves: 4

Ingredients
  • 6-7 potatoes cut into thick long slices (similar to French fries)
  • 3-4 finely chopped green chillies
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • pinch of ajinomoto
  • salt and pepper as per taste
  • Coriander for decoration
  • Mayonise Sauce



Method
  • Heat oil in a pan for deep frying
  • Deep fry the potatoes
  • Mix tomato ketchup, pepper, salt, vinegar and soya sauce with potatoes and keep aside for 10 mins
  • Stir fry the garlic and green chillies in a separate pan
  • Add the potato mixture and
  • Top it up with coriander for decoration and serve with Mayonise sauce

Quick Custard Rasmalai Recipe

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 5 mins
Serves: 4 

Ingredients
Ingredients for the custard
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tsp custard powder
  • 3 tsp sugar

Other Ingredients
  • 8 slices bread
  • 6 tsp Amul Cream or Malai
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp finely cut cashew nuts
  • Vanilla Essence for flavour

How to cut the bread

How to Serve



Method
For the custard
  • Add custard powder in warm milk and mix well
  • Make sure there are no lumps and get the mixture to boil
  • Add sugar and keep aside until cool (Best served when chilled)

How to proceed
  • Mix cream, vanilla essence and sugar in a bowl
  • Apply the mixture on bread slice and add chopped cashews on top
  • Cover with another bread slice to make a sandwich
  • Repeat for other 3 bread sandwiches
  • When serving, put the sandwiches in a bowl and pour the cold custard on top
  • Decorate with chocolate powder or chopped pista

Note: Tastes best when served cold
